Dr Harhen graduated medicine from University College Cork in 2016. He completed his internship in University Hospital Waterford, before spending 1 year abroad working as a doctor in Western Australia. On his return to Ireland, he trained in general internal medicine in Dublin for several years, getting exposure to many different medical specialties across various regional hospitals during this time, with a keen interest in gastroenterology. In 2021 he became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians Ireland following successful completion of his exams. He commenced his GP training through the UCD GP scheme and has joined Rowan Family Practice as a GP registrar.
